14 passengers are seriously injured, one in critical conditions and have been rushed to Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital after a Ford passengers car collided with a Tipper car at Gomoa Nyamebekyere near Gomoa Dominase Onion market on the Kasoa Cape Coast Highway in the Central Region.
Preminery investigations by Winneba Municipal Fire service indicates that, the Ford passengers car from Takoradi heading towards Accra with the registration number GE 7270-17 made a wrongful overtaken and collided with a incoming tipper car.
In an interview with Mireku nyampong news, Officer in-charged of the rescue team from Winneba Municipal Fire service station ,ADO2 Jude Oppong Manu says the driver of the Ford was stucked in his car for an hour due to the impact of the accident but was manage to rescue him to Winneba Hospital.
ADO2 Jude Oppong Manu also entreat drivers plying on the Kasoa Cape Coast Highway to avoid unnecessary overtaken and save lives and properties.
