Winneba Divisional MTTD Police Command has handed over, 9,670 US dollars, 2,630 Liberian Dollars , Ghc 470 , 6 Mobile phones and personal belongings to Buduburam GPRTU executives to be given to the victims.
Speaking to Mireku Nyampong , Winneba Divisional MTTD Commander DSP Bertha Bogu revealed that, 15 of the victims are still on admission at Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital while one of the has been referred to Korle-bu Teaching Hospital .
If we recall Mireku Nyampong Reported that, fire officers found 9000 dollars while rescuing the victims and were handed over to the police.
DSP Bertha Bogu State all items have handed over to Buduburam GPRTU Chairman to be handled over to the family members of the victims.
Meanwhile Buduburam GPRTU Chairman for Ghana -Liberia branch James Nuamah commended Winneba MTTD Police Command for the hard work they put up in rescuing of the victims and also handed over all items found to them.
Furthermore brother of the Yotong Bus who died in the Accident , Kwame Twumasi appealed to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to dualized Kasoa Cape Coast Highway to reduce accident of such nature.
Kwabena Agyapong the Yotong Bus died during the accident.
