Ghana sprinting duo, Benjamin Azamati And Sean Safo-Antwi have qualified to the semis of the men’s 100m race in the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Benjamin Azamati, Ghana’s 100m record holder finished comfortably with a time of 10.19s to win Heat 7 of the men’s 100m race albeit a shaky start.
Sean Sarfo-Antwi didn’t also disappoint after he finished fourth in Heat 10 to join Azamati in the semis. Sean run 10.33s behind Jerod Elcock, Emanuel Archibald and Stephan Charles to advance to the next stage.
The semi-finals and finals are scheduled for Wednesday evening.
