In response to the Gomoa East District’s restriction on Landguard activities, Nyanyano Police acts strong and arrests five (5) Landguards today.
The stated landguards were allegedly terrorizing incident land owners in Nyanyano and its surroundings and extorting money.
The five will be arranged before court tomorrow, according to a police source.
Mireku Nyampong Speaking to DCE for Gomoa East, who doubles as Chairman for District Security Council (Disec) Hon Solomon Darko-Quarm, confirmed the arrest saying the District police Command is taking the statement from the suspects and they will be arrange before court tomorrow.
He however advised the youth who are engaging themselves in such Activities to desist from it because the law will deal with them accordingly when caught.
