The Official of the Ghana Statistical Service(GSS), led by Dr Grace Bediako visited the home of the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr Bawumia to enumerate his household as part of the 2021 national census exercise.
Dr Bawumia explained that the benefits the country would derive from the census data are enormous and the outcomes of the census exercise will guide the development plans, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting, particularly with Africa Union’s Agenda 2063, the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs), thus Agenda 2030 and the National Development Agenda.
Dr Bawumia said, he has been counted therefore everybody should be counted for the national good
