The President of the Worldwide Miracle Outreach, Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, has finally reacted to the dual citizenship case of the embattled Assin North MP, Honorable James Quayson. Speaking on the Morning show on GTV, he called on the judiciary to allow James Quayson to continue his duties.
Dr. Lawrence Tetteh stated boldly that he disagreed with the fundamental principle of the Ghanaian constitution which disallowed Ghanaians citizens who are citizens of other countries from partaking in the parliamentary and presidential elections. According to him, this is fundamentally wrong especially when most of the brain and intellect Ghanaians are mostly dual citizens.
Dr. Lawrence Tetteh explained the illogic that takes place when this same government and constitution allows footballers or sportsmen who have dual citizenships to play their games.
Dr. Lawrence Tetteh further argued that he and his children who are dual citizens find it difficult to serve the nation because of the provisions in the constitution. He called on the Members of Parliament and lawmakers to revise the constitution.
