The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of JosPong Group of Companies, owners of Zoomlion Ghana Ltd, Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyapong, is currently being lambasted by a section of Ghanaians after claiming he used just 3ghs to set up his first company in 1995.
According to Dr. Siaw, the 3ghs was a loan he took from his mother who owned a bookshop at the time.
He made this known when he addressed students, faculty and other prominent individuals during the 6th Leadership Lecture organized by the University of Health And Allied Sciences (UHAS) in honour of the late John Evans Atta Mills, former president of the republic.
However, Dr. Siaw’s comment didn’t go down well with a vast section of Ghanaians on social media platform, Facebook.
According to most of them, the JosPong Group owner cannot establish a company with the said amount in 1995.
Below are reactions of some Ghanaians.
