A Nigerian guy caught stealing at Akoto-Lante in Accra has been given the best treatment ever he could wish for.
When caught in the act stealing, many thought he would receive beatings from the mob but they surprised everyone.
The thief who says he’s called Aliu was asked to clean the choked gutter in the area.
When he was done, they made him take his bath and gave him new clothes for wear.
They then took him to a a restaurant where he was served Banku and soup to eat to his satisfaction.
The thief had praise for Ghana for this treatment and promised never to steal again.
“You Ghana people are very good people. If it were a different community, they would have killed me. I won’t steal again,” – he said
