A Ghanaian artist by the name of Francine Kouffie, better known in the entertainment industry as Fantana, has said that she is a horrible chef but that she is capable of frying and cooking ripe plantains if you offer her $5,000.
During a conversation with the blogger Zionfelix, she revealed that despite the fact that she is not a skilled cook, she employs trained chefs to prepare the food at the restaurant that she owns.
“If you wager $5000 on red plantain, I will be able to make it for you.” I can either boil it, fry it, or prepare it in another manner. I believe I am capable of frying any meal that you provide. “I am capable of preparing stews for myself,” she said.
Fantana also made it abundantly evident that despite the fact that she had restricted capabilities in the realm of her culinary talents, she is adept at preparing stews for herself.
Fantana claims that she would never coerce or threaten someone into trying her sauces.
“I am able to create a beef stew using corner cuts for myself. You folks can eat some but I don’t compel others to consume my stuff. You are able to place orders, but everything that is prepared here is done so by a trained chef,” she said.
The Ghanaian diva is one of the artistes managed by BlownGH and Bullet’s Rufftown Records, which also represents other musicians like Wendy Shay and Ray James.
