Addressing newly sworn-in Odikros, queenmothers, and Family Heads, Nana Okofo Amiresi Okai Annan, the Sumankwaahene of the Gomoa Akyempim Traditional Council, asked them to come and serve rather than to come and abuse the power bestowed upon them because the entire traditional council needs peace, unity, and oneness to develop Gomoa communities.
According to him, Nananom will not in any manner accommodate Odikros who may appear and place their shoulders above Nananom in future traditional councils.
