Ghana Women’s Premier League champions, Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC are done with preparations ahead of the WAFU Zone B CAF Women’s Champion League qualifiers in Ivory Coast.
The team pitched camp at the GFA Technical Center to finalize their preparations where they play a number of friendly matches.
While at Prampram the team met with the GFA president Kurt Okraku, Nana Fosu Gyeabour II and other GFA officials to discuss issues of mutual benefits including logistical and other kinds of support.
The GFA says it will provide Ampem Dakoa with the same level of support as they did to Hasaacas Ladies FC during their participation in the tournament last year.
The team has since left the Technical Center to their home base in Techiman where they will complete final preparations before traveling to Yamoussoukro on Thursday in accordance with the set date of arrival by the WAFU B Secretariat.
The Ghanaian champions will be competing in Group B along side Union Sportive des forces Armees from Burkina Faso, Togolese side Athleta FC and Bayelsa Queens from Nigeria.
