The management of the National Sports Authority (NSA) has closed down all match venues under its jurisdiction for all betPawa Premier League games until further notice.
This follows the Ghana Football Association’s decision to put the betPawa Premier League on hold after a Motion on Notice for Injunction was filed at the Human Rights High Court by Ashantigold SC.
In responds to the injunction, the NSA has therefore suspended all betPawa Premier League matches and activities in all of its facilities until the the final determination of the case.
The Authority in a statement said in as much as they are ‘disturbed by the unfortunate development’ they will however ‘abide’ by the order of the high court.’
