US-based Ghanaian footballer Eugene Quaynor has reportedly lost his life just days after he celebrated his birthday.
Multiple sources online reveal that the deceased who was the captain of Oral Roberts University men’s soccer team, passed away after the incident on Wednesday, September 29, 2022.
According to a statement made by Oklahoma Police, a drunk SUV driver struck the 23-year-sedan old’s automobile from behind as it was stopped at a red light.
Quaynor’s car was involved in the collision, which led it to veer through the junction and strike a wall before catching fire.

Pulse Ghana reports that Quaynor was on the books of the Phoenix Academy in Ghana, before moving to America, where he joined the Flint City Bucks in Flint, Michigan.
“Eugene was a much-loved member of the Bucks’ team, as well as the Flint community. In addition to being a true warrior on the pitch, he was always eager to do community service work, free youth clinics and charity events,” the Flint City Bucks said in a statement.
