The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association has fined Legon Cities GHc8000 cedis after they were found guilty on three counts of misconduct in their betPawa Premier League opener against Medeama SC at the El Wak Stadium.
The Club will also pay an amount of GHc2000 to referee Charles Benle Bulu for replacement of his car two tyres.
Legon Cities player, Michael Ampadu has also been handed a 5-match ban in addition to the mandatory suspension he is to serve for receiving a red card in the match.
The Disciplinary Committee chaired by Vice Chairperson Carla Olympio, also handed a 10-match ban to an official of the club following his unsporting and intimidating behavior towards match officials on the day of the match.
Meanwhile the betPawa Premier League is on hold following a court Injunction filed at the Human Rights High Court by Ashantigold SC.
