Young Ghanaian rapper, Thorsten Owusu Gyimah also known as Yaw Tog has disclosed that he wants to supply twenty thousand exercise books to school kids.
Yaw Tog has announced that he has the motive to set up a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and be generous to school children with books for their education.
Speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye on Kastle Entertainment Show, Yaw Tog disclosed that he has already distributed over six thousand books to some selected schools in Ghana.
“TOGLife Foundation we help people, especially the kids like the young ones like me and I have been able to share 6,000 books to them,” he told Amansan Krakye in a one-on-one interview.
When asked by the host how he plans to finance his new project of distributing twenty thousand exercise books to school children, he disclosed that he will use the proceeds from his recent event at the Kumasi Rotary Park to finance the project.
He continued “I shared the books among kids in both public and private schools and we are trying to raise money to supply about 20,000 books so that’s the limit we want to reach.
“So we are still on it and after my October show, I will use the money to go and support activities of my foundation for the people on the streets and everywhere,” he remarked.
