Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency(YEA), Mr Kofi Baah Agyepong says government is committed to creating decent and sustainable job opportunities for the team Youth.
According to him government through the Youth Employment Agency has already created 25,000 direct jobs to help curbing the employment issues in the country.
Mr Agyepong therefore called on the Private sector to partner with YEA to help address the unemployment challenges faced by the youth in the country because government alone can not eliminate unemployment.
He said the PPP could help bridge the skills gap by providing training opportunities that match the skills required in the job market; create job opportunities through the provision of resources, funding and guidance.
Mr Kofi Baah Agyepong made this remarks at the official launch of Training and Employment of Insurance Agents in Accra.
Deputy Minister for Employment and Labour Relations, Bright Wreko Brobbey pleaded with Insurance companies meaning in the training employ some of the young graduates(participants).
To him ,there in the need of smooth collaboration from stakeholders in creating more opportunities for young people and to help them achieve their full potential.
