Angry Youth and Nananom of Onomabo have called on the Inspector General of police for swift action to be taken as Serious tension has erupted at Onomabo under the Asene Akroso Manso District of the Eastern region over long standing boundary dispute.
According to the chief of Onomabo Nana Kwasi Larbi Lartey , the Manso Traditional council and Asamankese Traditional council have come together four years ago and demarcated the boundary between the two communities but there’s one guy called JB at Kwashie community who is allegedly influencing the Asamankese District police Command to re-demarcate their boundaries in favor of Asamankese.
With regards to this, the youth group and traditional authorities in Onomabo have waged war against the re-demarcation of the boundaries hence the call.
Speaking with to Mireku Nyampong during a press conference today at Onomabo Nana Lartey noted that, they will never allow the people of Asamankese to re-demarcate the boundaries since there’s an existing boundary.
Moreover, some aggrieved Youth in Onomabo have vowed to match JB and the people of Kwashie Boot for Boot if they failed.
