Gomoa East Assembly Members in the central Region stated that they would be pleased if the town council agreed to reinstate sanitary inspectors to help with Gomoa East’s sanitation problems.
Members of the Gomoa East Assembly indicated that since past governments stopped sanitary inspectors from functioning, the sanitation problems in the area have gotten out of hand.
The Assembly members claimed in an interview with Mireku Nyampong that bringing back sanitary inspectors will give unemployed youth work and get rid of trash on our streets.
They make this disclosure at the assembly meeting.
Solomon Darko Quarm, the DCE for Gomoa East, has pledged to deploy sanitary inspectors in Gomoa East to aid in the fight against sanitation challenges.
Regarding landguard actions, the DCE stated that the assembly will put various measures in place to address these landguards’ activities.
