Ghanaian actress and musician Adomaa born Joy Onyinyechukwu Adomaa Serwaa Adjeman says she wants to be cremated when she dies.
She made this known while reacting to a news item that indicated that graves have become expensive in recent times.
Adomaa is of the view that her dead body will serve better as manure for a tree rather than buying space and burying her in a casket to serve no purpose after her death.
“Honestly, I do not want to be buried in this way. Give my useful organs and parts to people who need them, then plant a seed with the rest of me (cremated or any inexpensive way) and let me exist as a tree.
Y’all can have a picnic, play music, laugh and dance under the shade. I’d like that very much,” she said.
