Former Deputy National Security Coordinator in charge of Airports Hopeson Yaovi Adorye has been alleged to be the one whose actions enabled Serwaa Broni to “compromise” President Akufo-Addo.
According to NPP activist Atick Yakubu, it was Hopeson Adorye who is now a member of the Alan Kyerematen Movement for Change who took Serwaa Broni into Ghana’s Presidential jet which enabled her get access to take “compromising pictures”.
Serwaa Broni is a Ghanaian-Canadian lady based in Canada who months ago made some wild allegations against the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on social media with pictures and videos.
According to her, Nana Addo has been hitting on her since 2019 wanting to go in bed with her but she has on countless occasions turned him down on his advances. She shared pictures with the President in a private jet and other topless images of the First Gentleman which circulated on social media.
Speaking on the scandal and blaming Hopeson Adorye, Atick Yakubu said the entire scandal was caused by the Alan Kyeremanten ‘s key man.
It was alleged that anytime money for settlement of the issue was given to Hopeson Adorye, he took the lion’s share with very little reaching the woman leading to her going public.
“You, Hopeson , the whole Serwaa Broni scandal was triggered by you. It seems to be a sensitive matter no one is talking about. After you took the woman to the jet and she took compromising pics and started the blackmail, people who wanted the issues solved amicably gave you a lot of cash but if you are given 10, you deliver 0.5 to her” he wrote.
“If you hadn’t taken her to the flight, that scandal wouldn’t have happened. You pocketed monies meant for ADR on the issue till she got tired and started spinning and talking. You didn’t even bother what was at stake. All you cared was about your pocket. For your information, I knew about the issue a year before it came out. So I have the facts.. At least if your home sense had failed you, your school sense should have thought you to settle that issue amicably.”.
Hopeson Adorye did not respond to the allegation directly. He however threatened to throw “one bomb”.
