Ghanaians have lashed out at Shatta Wale for abandoning his mother despite claiming to be rich.
Shatta’s mother, Elsie Evelyn Avemegah recently came to social media to seek for help. According to her, she hasn’t set eyes on her son for the past 10 years.
Elsie accused Shatta Wale of abandoning her and not sending her money to take care of herself and also pay her medical bills.
She also confirmed that she is currently in the care of her sister and niece, Sharifa Aheteku, the lady who went public with the news of her ill health.
Sharita corroborated her claims, stating that Shatta Wale’s mother is struggling to afford essential things like medicine, food, and shelter.
She emphasized that, the information circulating on social media about her aunt’s condition is true and not exaggerated’
Elsie further revealed that the frustration and financial struggles have made her frail like an old woman. She called on the general public to come to her aid.
Reacting to this, some people have called Shatta Wale heartless for not taking care of his mother. Shatta Wale is known for constantly bragging about the wealth he has acquired and the number of properties he has.
However, in spite of all his wealth, he is unable to take care of his sick mother.
