The member of parliament for Gomoa East , Hon. Desmond Degraft Paitoo has asked electorates in Ghana especially Christians to allow the Holy Spirit to guide them in the choice of political leaders in December 7 elections .
He believes that the will of God is to let former President John Dramani Mahama win power to reset Ghana again from the sufferings Nana Addo and Bawumia government has brought upon the country .
He pleaded with the youth to vote massively for John Dramani Mahama and himself to safeguard the future of the country.
Speaking at the annual youth rally organized by the Salvation Army in Awutu, Efutu , Gomoa section on the theme” Growth”, the legislator mentioned that Ghana can only grow with leaders who are dedicated and ready to serve .
Meanwhile the Territorial Youth Secretary for the Salvation Army Church ,Captain Emmanuel Quansah also urged the youth to be vigilant in deciding who they will vote for and make sure they are not swayed with money or material things .
He said the country cannot not afford to sacrifice the peace it was enjoying, therefor urge the youth to be agent of peace before ,during and after elections .
He used the opportunity to applaud the youth of the Salvation Army Church in Awutu ,Effutu, Gomoa Section for their dedication to God’s work .
