The Queen Mother of Ngleshie-Amanfrom in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region, Nana Tambia IV has spat out a life lesson to Ghanaian youth who are looking for a shortcut to riches.
Many Ghanaians, particularly the lazy and entitled young generation of today, are obsessed with ‘short cuts’ because we just want to reap without sowing. Everyone wants to gets rich but no one wants to work hard.
Nana Tambia speaking to the Media on the sidelines of the 2024 Homowo festival said there is nothing like blood or quick money which can make you rich overnight.
“You have to work hard, sometimes for decades, just to get to the level of success you want” she added.
She entreated the youth to stay away from drugs, particularly, weed and tramadol as she believes that it could ruin their lives.
Nana Tambia noted that there were a lot of challenges affecting the youth and appealed to stakeholders to join the nationwide fight against drug abuse to save the lives of the country’s present generation of youth to help them become responsible national future leaders.
Nana Tambia advised the Youth to desist from political violence instigated by politicians ahead of the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.
She urged the youth to be bold and tell politicians who contact them to engage in election violence to bring their children, who are abroad, to come and fight for them with their lives.
