Inaki Williams was unplayable on Thursday night as Athletic Bilbao eased their way to a 2-0 Europa League win against AZ Alkmaar at the San Mames on Thursday.
Williams was set-up by his brother Nico in the 72nd minute as the pair combined to give Bilbao the lead.
Nico then doubled his assist on the night as he teed up Oihan Sancet five minutes from time to secure Bilbao’s first win of the season.
Iñaki, who struggled in the early part of the season, has now scored twice and provided four assists in his last six games for the club.
Prior to September’s international break, Iñaki had failed to register a goal contribution for Los Leones.
However, his three assists against Las Palmas after the international break propelled him to rediscovering his best form.
At the moment, Iñaki’s is amongst Bilbao’s most in-form players as they head for another international break in October.
The Ghanaian will look to help the Black Stars pick up their first 2025 AFCON qualifying win when they take on Sudan on October 11.
