British actor Idris Elba, of Ghanaian descent, plans to relocate to Africa within the next decade to support the continent’s film industry. The 52-year-old star of The Wire and Luther is leading projects to build film studios in Zanzibar and Accra.
With strong ties to Africa, Elba aims to uplift the industry through his influence.
