Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament for North Tongu, has donated 100 wheelchairs to individuals with physical disabilities within his constituency.

The MP stated that this act is part of his ongoing commitment to express gratitude to his constituents following each election cycle.

In a Facebook post on Monday, December 16, Ablakwa conveyed his gratitude to the constituents for their support and pledged to enhance his service to them moving forward.

“This weekend, I continued with my tradition of offering a little gesture of appreciation to my beloved constituents immediately after every election victory. Yesterday, I donated 100 wheelchairs to my special constituents.

“4 years ago, we took care of the medical bills of children on admission at the Children’s Ward of the Battor Catholic Hospital. The tradition continues. Thank you for our 93.12% victory. I shall serve you better than ever.”

Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa successfully retained his position in the North Tongu constituency, securing 41,073 votes. Dr. John Savior Eleblu Yao of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) followed in second place with a total of 3,035 votes.
