The Central Regional Police Command, led by DCOP Habiba Twum Sarpong has collaborated with the Kasoa Divisional Police Command to arrest 340 suspected criminals in Kasoa.
In an operation dubbed, “Operation Storm Kasoa” the suspects, mostly Nigerians, were arrested in areas such as Kasoa CP, Buduburam, Ofaakor, Adade, and Akweley.
According to DCOP Habiba Twum Sarpong, items retrieved from the suspects include 245 laptops, 142 assorted mobile phones, and 6 Nigerian passports.
Also, substances suspected to be Indian hemp were retrieved from the 9 of the suspects, she added.

The suspects, according to the Police capo, will be screened and those found to be culpable will be arraigned before the court.
In an effort to curtail robbery activities in the township, DCOP Habiba Twum Sarpong has urged the public to assist the police in investigating crimes in the area.
