The general secretary of the New Patriotic Party Mr John Boadu has urged party faithful’s who aspire to contest for a position in the party to consult the National complains Committee for their consent to address.
Speaking to the media on the upcoming internal elections, the General Secretary noted that, in times like this aspirant normally engaged the media by organizing press conferences rather than having a consultative meeting with the elections committee to seek clarification which sometimes affect the party in the general election.
Mr Boadu assured the rank and file of the elephant family that No aspirant will be denied the opportunity to purchase application forms to contest for the upcoming elections among party members.
The general secretary seized the opportunity to thanked all the aspirant for abiding by the NEC decision not to campaign at the just ended annual delegate conference held in kumasi in the Asante region.
He emphasized that the code of conduct which were formulated in accordance with Article 18 of the party’s constitution is applicable to all supporters and activists, including government appointees, ministers, councils, chief executive officers of government institutions, Members of Parliament, mmdc , potential candidates and their supporters, as well as all members of the party.
