Senegal, Africa’s national team, won the Africa Cup for the first time.

The finals were held in Cameroon against seven-time champion Egypt.

Mane, Liverpool’s winger, has the game-winning penalty kick after 90 minutes of play and extra time.

Mane had already missed a penalty during the game, but he won the Africa Cup for his national team, the Lions of Teranga, with a powerful shot.

Mendy, Chelsea’s goalkeeper, has won all four finals in the last nine months.

He is the current Fifa Goalkeeper of the Year.
