A female teacher of Gomoa Ejumako D/A Primary School has been beaten to death by husband at Gomoa Ankamu in the Gomoa West District of the central region.
Her husband, also a teacher, who after committing the act attempted suicide has been arrested
Yaa Linda, 32 has been cohabiting with her villain partner for fifteen years with four children.
According to what Obaatanpa News has gathered, the suspect, 40year Isaac Kwesi Kyemenu Sarsah has off late been subjecting the deceased to severe beatings, an act which caused the family of the deceased to relocate her.
The family resorted that, the two could only be reunited after her bride price had been settled by the suspect.
However, the suspect, on late evening of Friday, March 11, 2022 pounced on the deceased in her room and strangled her to death.
The suspect after committing the act went into hiding in a nearby bush and attempted suicide by drinking a poisonous substance.
He was later found upon a search mounted by youth of the community and rushed to the Apam Catholic Hospital and currently receiving treatment under police guard.
Kronti-hene of Gomoa Ankamu Nana Yaw Obow Kwansah is a brother of the deceased.
He has been speaking to Obaatanpa Mireku nyampong News.
Some other family members of the family have also been spoke to the media. They want justice to be administered swiftly.
