Ghanaians have expressed worry over the posturing of Communications Minister Ursula Owusu.
To many, the Communication Minister is an arrogant individual who disregards the people whose thumbs have given her the power to lead.
These concerns were expressed after the Minister’s Press Briefing Sunday, July 31, 2022.
To many, the Minister is clearly ill-informed when it comes to public policy but has failed to educate herself or listen to people who have the know-how.
These concerns were expressed on social media.
I agree, technology must make things easier. @UrsulaOw clearly has lost touch with reality and what the real mandate of her Ministry is. Poor policy implementation renders a progressive policy counterproductive. Public policy must be people centered and friendly. 🦁🇬🇭🔥 pic.twitter.com/DE6KJhaljv

You let people go through inhumane experiences for a needless deadline. Then you arrogantly tell the people who gave you the power you are enjoying, that you are "reluctantly" extending the timeline. Do you think that power is a monarchical one that you will be keeping forever?

I have very reluctantly decided to grant a final conditional extension until 30th Sept : Ursula

Ursula Owusu speak as if she has so much power/authority coupled with arrogance and ego. When she was given the opportunity to change the lives of her constituents, look at what she did. Wei? Apuuuuuu pic.twitter.com/2yhuLMxiz9
