Highlife musician, Akwaboah, has indicated that he may tie the knot by the end of the year.
“By God’s grace this year, we pray and hope that we will also finally get married,” he says, despite the fact that establishing and securing personal partnerships is one of the “problems” that artists who make love songs confront.
In an interview with Kastle FM in Cape Coast, the artiste stated this while discussing why musicians who make love songs find it difficult to preserve their relationships.
Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr., as he is formally known, made the point that some of his colleagues who choose not to marry may not be doing it in error because most of their partners have excessive expectations of them.
“Sometimes it’s not the fault of we the musicians not to get married and I always make these comments.
“Sometimes when some people listen to the kind of songs you do, they think you are just like an angel sent from heaven.
“They think you don’t have faults so when you err they take things too high and so you don’t know whether to continue or quit the relationship,” he said
