A former Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) and former Asante Kotoko’s Public Relations Officer(PRO), Listowell Yesu Bukarson has found the speech delivered by New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearership aspirant, Alan Kyeremanten, deeply disappointing.
The US-based Journalist contended that the speech, rather than project him, has given him away as one seemingly unprepared for the contest ahead.
Mr Bukarson, in a matter of fact manner, said that Mr Kyeremanten needed to work on his subsequent addresses to make him look formidable before his political opponents.
“Much as I admire him, am sorry to say his address has given him away. His PR and Communications team has disappointed him.
His speech writer, if there was any, has done him a lot of ill. His research team has let him down.
This was supposed to project and announce him to the world as, at least, a force to be contended with by his political opponents, but it fell short by drastic proportions.
Going forward, if he means business he must get his act together and reorganize his addresses, especially his content,” he wrote.
He added that Alan’s speech criticism of the current NPP administration will hurt him as well. In essence, he cut his nose to spit his face because of his desperation for power.
“Desperation for power does not require that you cut your nose to spite your face. Stage, positioning, levels, demeanor et al all lost on him when it mattered most, “he argued.
On Tuesday, January 10, 2023, Alan Kyeremanten gave an address to the nation on his ambition to President and what it portended for the country.
