Residents of Wassa Juabo in the Amenfi Central District of the Western Region were shocked in the early Wednesday dawn, when five robbers attacked a businessman and a gold dealer, Mr Emmanuel Afful 42 years, a.k.a Agya Adu together with his wife after days work.
Narrating the sad incident, the Assemblyman for Wassa Juabo Electoral Area, Hon. Dickson Amoateng popularly known as Astingo, stated, five armed robbers, attacked Agya Adu and shot him to death
The armed robbers then forced Madam Rita Acheampong, the wife of the deceased to their apartment to retrieve the remaining gold and cash
Hon. Dickson Amoateng (Astingo) stressed, after robbing the couples, the robbers noticed that Mr Samuel Donkor(42yrs) has called the police so they shot him with their pump-action gun
The case has been forwarded to the Western North Regional Police Command and the Regional Police Commander has visited the crime scene for further investigation
