Some parents of students of Islamic Senior High School have stormed the campus, demanding the release of their wards.
This follows a student protest that resulted in the firing of shots by the police.
It was earlier reported that the Police allegedly fired live bullets and tear gas to disperse Islamic Senior High School students in Kumasi during a demonstration.
According to reports by Citi TV, more than 30 of the students have been reportedly rushed to the hospital and several are still waiting to receive medical attention.
Some parents of the affected students stormed the school to take their wards to the hospital. Unfortunately for them, the authorities refused to allow the parents to have access to the kids for security reasons.
