Aquaculture for food and jobs programme launched, President Promise To Create Over 60, 000 jobs for The Youths

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo says, the government through the Ministry of fisheries and Aquaculture  is going to trained 10,000 youth in Aquaculture to create 60,000 jobs to help reduce unemployment rate in the country

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to day launched Aquaculture for food and jobs program at R&B farms at Gomoa Nsuaem in the Gomoa Central of the Central.

Speaking at the event, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, said the government is committed to make fish farming more accessible, attractive and affordable for every Ghanaian

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo also commended R&B farms for collaborating with government to help create over 60,000 unemployed youth.

He said, each of the youth will receive Ghc 38,700 as seed capital, free fingerlings, and pond.

Meanwhile the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Mavis Hawa Koomson says, the ministry is going to provide 5 million fingerlings to the 10,000  youth who are going to be trained in Aquaculture for food and job’s policy and believe that this policy will help  reduce unemployment rate in the country.

Furthermore, Chief Executive officer for R&B farms Richard Ekow Quansah says, their mission is to create 10million jobs for the youth in the next 20 years.
