Are you a beneficiary of the rot at GRA? – Sam George quizzes Akufo-Addo

Sam George

Member of Parliament(MP) for Ningo Prampram Sam George has asked President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is a beneficiary of an alleged rot ongoing at the Ghana Revenue Authority(GRA) for which reason he is quiet.

According to him, recent scandals around the President’s government have become one too many whiles the President sits aloof without doing anything to sanitize the system.

To Sam George, this may be an indication that the President may be a beneficiary of the scandals and until he takes action by kicking out individuals put into positions of influence who are disgracing him he will be seen as a beneficiary.

The Ningo Prampram Member of Parliament who made this known in a post shared via social media said he will be sterilizing the rot at the Ghana Revenue Authority in the coming days.

Dear President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, once again I bring you greetings despite the gloom.

Sir, I believe many Ghanaians just like me are fed up with the almost daily scandals that have rocked your government. I am shocked at the mess emerging from the Ghana Revenue Authority – Official.

Over the next few days, I would begin a serialisation of some of the issues that leave me worried as a citizen. I would be interested in the opinion of the Special Prosecutor on what forms the basis for his intervention in issues involving retirement age and extension of contracts for persons above the age of 60 years.

Again, I would be interrogating issues around the IT contracts being awarded like peanuts many of which are sole-sourced multimillion dollar contracts to companies with no track records or questionable business addresses or directors.

Mr. President, are you not fed up with the daily scandals? Or are you a beneficiary of these scandals? If you are sleeping at the wheel Sir, wake up for we have long veered off the road of progress as a Nation. Shalom.
