The chief of Berekuso who is also the Akuapim Twafohene, Nana Oteng Korankye has led fundraising ceremony in the aid to construct a free hostel for the Twafoman Technical Senior High School.
According to Nana Korankye, the school is made of students from far and near so there’s the need for the construction of a hostel.
He said the hostel will provide free accommodation for the students which he believes will improve the performance of the students and also attract more students.
Speaking in an interview with Kingdom News, Nana Oteng stated that the school is still in talks with government to adopt the school, Twafoman Technical Senior High School as one of the TVET school in Akuapim South.
Nana took the opportunity to encourage parents to bring their wards to Twafoman Technical School and also urged the junior high students to have interest in Technical schools.
