Black Sherif wins injunction case against former manager

Black Sherif

The Accra High Court dismissed an injunction case brought against Black Sherif by his former manager.

The former manager of the “Kweku The Traveller” hitmaker was requesting that the court prohibit Black Sherif from performing songs that he churched out while signed to his record label.

Shadrach Agyei Owusu sued Black Sherif for breach of contract on April 11th, following his unofficial departure from his record label.

He then filed a court case against the singer, preventing him from using his talent or performing old songs until the case was resolved and a judgment was issued.

Among other things, Black Sherif’s ex-manager requested that the court impose a moratorium on Black Sherif’s streams and performances. He sobbed because the singer had shot him in the foot.

The team led by Samson Lardy Anyenini argued against the motion after filing a defense and counterclaim for Black Sherif.

According to Ghana Weekend, the judge ruled today that the Plaintiff had failed to make a compelling case for the injunction and related orders sought by the court.

According to Justice Sarpomaa Amoah, if the motion is granted, the defendant will suffer grave injustice.
