Everton are reportedly set to relieve manager Frank Lampard of his duties barely a year after his appointment.
“Everton Football Club can confirm that Frank Lampard has left his post as Senior Men’s First Team Manager today.” the club announced in a statement.
Joe Edwards, Paul Clement, Ashley Cole and Chris Jones have also left the Club.
The Merseyside club have struggled to churn out good results this season and are stuck in the relegation zone with just 15 points.
They lost 2-0 to West Ham over the weekend and that could just be the last straw that broke the camel’s back.
Lampard replaced Rafa Benitez on 31st January last year and dramatically survived relegation but has failed to bring the Toffees back on track since the beginning of the season.
Paul Tait and Leighton Baines will take training until a new manager is appointed.
