Yet to be identified robber has been beaten to death at Agona Asafo in Agona East District of Central Region.
Information gathered reveals that, the deceased picked the okada rider from Agona Swedru town to Asafo to meet someone, upon reaching a very quiet place at Agona Asafo, the deceased attacked the okada rider with knife, put pepper into the okada rider’s eyes and run away with the motor.
Sources said, the okada rider managed to rushed to Asafo town to report the case to his fellow okada riders which they chase the guy.
Fortunately, they caught the deceased, beaten him and also set him ablaze leading to his death.
Agona Asafo Electoral Area Assemblyman, Hon. Obiabedidi narrate the incident.
The Assemblyman Cautioned those who are into robbery in Agona Asafo to desist from it.
The body has been conveyed at Agona Swedru hospital morgue for preservation while police are taken on with their investigations.
