The Awutu Traditional council has waged war against Gomoa Fetteh stool over claiming to be Allodial owners of Kasoa, Yamoah Nkwanta, Papase and other communities under Awutu Traditional council.
If we will recall, Gomoa Fetteh Traditional council held a press conference last week to announced the ban on noise making ahead of a traditional rite on November 3 which the communities , Kasoa, Yamoah Nkwanta, Papase and others must observe the ban since it’s falls under Gomoa Fetteh stool.
In this case, the Awutu Traditional council has protested against the announcement of Gomoa Fetteh stool some areas mentioned are not under Gomoa Fetteh but rather falls under Awutu Traditional council.
Addressing the media during a gargantuan Demonstration at Awutu Beraku today, Gyasehene Traditional area Nai Kwadwo Ahene who spoke on behalf of the Omanhene, noted that, the above mentioned areas doesn’t belong to Gomoa Fetteh so residents in those areas should make noise and go about their normal duties during that 3rd of November no body in the above areas should observe the ban as announced by Fetteh Traditional council.
He has however, called on the government led by His Excellency Nana Akuffo Addo, inspector General of police COP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, national security minister Kan Dapaa to intervene and demarcate the boundaries between Gomoa Fetteh And Awutu Traditional council.
Moreover, Mireku Nyampong speaking with some angry chiefs in Awutu Traditional council have warned Gomoa Fetteh chiefs to stay away from Awutu Lands to avoid bloodshed.
We shall match Gomoa Fetteh Boot for Boot if they dare come to Kasoa, Yamoah Nkwanta, Papase and others in the name of enforcing the ban with Landguards.
