The Central Regional Police Command has arrested one Nana Clark Onyaa in connection with the killing of a 25-year-old trainee nurse, Georgina Asor Botchwey.
The woman was reportedly buried in the kitchen of the suspect’s home in Mankesim after he conspired with the pastor to have her killed.

According to reports, once the woman was abducted, Nana Onyaa and the Pastor sought Ghc15, 000 from her family in order to secure her release.
The Chief and the Pastor allegedly killed the lady and then buried her in the Chief’s kitchen when the family failed to pay the required money, according to the police’s account of the incident.
Chief Superintendent David Gyabaa and Mireku Nyampong, the Central Regional Crime Officer and Regional Police Command’s two suspects, acknowledged the arrest in an interview with Obaatanpa News.
Meanwhile, a few irate Mankesim citizens have urged the police to ensure that the suspects be subject to the full force of the law.
