Angry Residents and Nananom of Gomoa Akoti Bankye-ase in the Gomoa East District of central region have raised concerns about rampant Landguards activities in the area.
According to the Aggrieved residents in Akoti Bankye-ase, their lives are in danger since the notorious Landguards on daily basis wielding pump action guns and other deadly weapons galavanting to destroy properties and assaulting developers who happens to be indigenous persons at Gomoa Akoti Bankye-ase and it surrounding communities.
The Aggrieved Residents pointed out one Abass Abdul Wahid popularly known as Dallar Man as the Landguard Kinpin motivating Such activities in Akoti Bankye-ase.
They noted that, the Kinpin in Landguardism Dallar Man apart from forcefully taken their land and selling it out for people, he is currently winning sand on part of the lands without the permission of the Allodial owners.
They Alleged that, the Notorious Landguards Lord Dallar Man who invaded their land who is into Sand winning business and has graded Acres of plantation without compensation.
The Aggrieved Residents have through Mireku Nyampong appealed to the inspector General of police COP Dr Akuffo Dampare to immediately intervene Arrest and prosecute the Notorious Landguards King Dallar Man else the youth in the community with clash with the Landguards in the area.
Meanwhile, an Opinion leader who spoke on behalf of the chief of Akoti Bankye-ase Mr. Kofi Amissah expressed worry over the way and manner their lands has been forcefully taken by strangers and using hardened criminals and notorious Landguards to brutalized them and destroying properties worth millions of dollars.
He has however, called on IGP , President Akuffo Addo , National security minister Kan Dapaa to take prudent action in the area to calm down the unbearable situation..
