The Gomoa East Constituency Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of the Central Region, Hon. Hassan Hamidu has made a clarion call on a party supporters and executives not to allow appointments call for division in the party.
According to the organiser, most people are vying for the position of Gomoa East Metropolitan Mayor and it is likely to bear fruit of division but if they all come together to support whoever will be appointmented to the Mayor position, it will only help Gomoa East develop.
He noted that all people vying for the Mayor Position are competent for the position but only one of them will gain it and he trust His Execellency John Dramani Mahama will appoint the right person for the position.
“I know some people will be bitter because their own did not get the appointment but if we rally behind whoever will gain the appointment, Gomoa East and NDC will develop”, he stated.
Hon. Hassan Hamidu made these assertion when his outfit organized an intercessory prayer section for His Execellency John Dramani Mahama for Allah to grant him the wisdom and protection to govern the country now that he has been sworn in.
On his part, the Chief Imam of Millinneum City, Imam Abdulai Mohammed noted that Gomoa East especially Millinneum City has been battling for Water Crisis for a very long time of which he hopes this new Mahama Government will solve it for them.
He appealed to the Member of Parliament in Gomoa East and President Mahama to come to their aid by constructing all unmotorable roads in the constituency.
