C/R: KASOA MP NAA KORYOO ACCUSED OF BLOCKING APPOINTMENTS DUE TO CONSTITUENCY COMMUNICATIONS OFFICERS AND SERIAL CALLERS.

Hon. Dr. Phyllis Naa Koryoo Okunor, Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East constituency in the Central Region, has faced accusations of blocking appointments for National Democratic Congress (NDC) party members within the constituency.

These allegations have been made by some NDC members, who claim that Hon. Dr. Okunor has been hindering their opportunities for appointments.

Cobby Wilson, Deputy Constituency Communications Officer of the NDC, has specifically alleged that he was denied the Public Relations Officer (P.R.O) position at the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), a role he claims was supposed to be given to him.

Cobby Wilson is calling on the party leadership to intervene and call Hon. Dr. Okunor to order. According to Cobby, this intervention is necessary to foster unity within the Kasoa NDC party.

Some serial callers and communicators of the NDC have also weighed in on the issue, calling on Hon. Dr. Okunor to prioritize unity over personal interests. They have accused her of ruling the constituency with her husband, rather than working with party members and executives.

The group is urging Hon. Dr. Okunor to put the interests of the party and its members first, and to work towards building a more united and inclusive NDC in the Awutu Senya East constituency.

As of now, there is no official response from Hon. Dr. Okunor or her office regarding these allegations.
