Information emanating from Agona Asafo a suburb of Agona Swedru in the Agona East District of the central region indicates that, a 43 year old man Kwaku Yeboah has been shot dead by a sakawa man popularly known as Sowah 25 years for unknown reason.
According to the 13 year old son of the deceased name withheld who saw the barbaric act, stated that he saw the sakawa man insulting, following his father on his way home but abruptly shot the deceased in the thigh.
I quickly rushed to the scene where my father was shot but the sakawa man warned me not make any attempt to inform anyone else he will shoot me, he said.
He asserted that, his father was lying down in a pool of blood bleeding profusely for over an hour since the sakawa man warned everyone not to help the deceased
Moreover, wife of the deceased Madam Ama Kyerewaa has expressed worry over the saddened death of her husband Kwaku Yeboah by the notorious sakawa man yesterday.
We are blessed with four kids and now I have no helper so I’m appealing to the inspector General of Police COP Dr George Akuffo Dampare to intervene and make peace prevail in the matter.
