Suspected mobile phones thief believed to be in his 30s has been tied up with rope on a concrete pillar and was nearly lynched at Gomoa Akwamu in the Gomoa central District of the central region today.
According to information, the suspect who’s name is not known was spotted stealing mobile phones and unspecified amount of money of Accident victims who were receiving herbal treatment from a native Doctor in Gomoa Akwamu .
Source says, the same suspect was arrested and brutalized just two months ago in the same community thinking he might desist from such notorious act.
The suspect was rescued from lynching after the Agona Swedru District police Command came to the scene and rushed him to the hospital for treatment.
