C/R: Motivate your children to develop interest in Education – Deputy minister for Education

The Deputy minister for Education who doubles as member of parliament for Assin South constituency Hon. Ntim Fordjour has called on parents/Guardians to motivate their children to develop a habit for Education.

According to the minister, Education is the back bone of every country and by the grace of God His from Basic School to Senior High Schools are free so there is no excuse a Ghanaian child must be in the house without attending school.

Hon. Ntim Fordjour noted that, learning doesn’t end in the classroom but rather parents have a lot to do with their wards Education not only the financial aspect but also should attend PTA meetings, and supervise their children homeworks to enhance teaching and learning in the country.

He made this pronouncement to Mireku Nyampong the Teachers Awards ceremony of Onua Francis International school and 60th birthday celebration of CEO of Onua Francis international School Noble Francis Okye-ahene Essel yesterday.

On the other hand, The CEO for Young Executive School and Onua Francis International School Noble Francis Essel Okye-ahene thanked God for his 60th birthday celebration and used the opportunity to encourage parents in the rural areas to do well and invest in their children Education for a brighter future and also advise CEOs to motivate their works to show appreciation.
