Over 4,000 residents and house owners have been locked out from the rooms with over 3000 houses and properties been marked to be demolished at Gethsemane near Millennium City and Jehovah junction suburb of Gomoa Nyanyano in the Gomoa East District of central region following order of possession from Winneba High Court.
Police, Lawyer and some group of people claim to be staff of Teachers Quarters, storm the two communities marked on properties of the residents, served them with court judgment.
According to the information gathered, one Johnson Amo Anom of teachers quarters Accra has won a judgement from Winneba High Court against Johnson Koomson and 62 orders.
Some residents who are stranded in an interview expressed their worry saying that, they were there this morning when they saw police, lawyer and some people writing on their walls and locking their gates.
They said, they were not given any notice from the teachers quarters and no one served them with notice until they came today with machine and police to evict them from their homes.
They therefore call on government to intervene and call them to order.
They vowed to stage a protest if the demolition persist.
Chairman of the Gethsemane Landlords Association, Mr. Benjamin Kwadwo Frimpong have also been speaking to the media vowed to resist attempt by anyone to unlawfully evacuate them from their houses.
